Ayurveda is an ancient holistic medical system which originated in India over 5000 years ago. Ayurveda is also the sister science to Yoga, both integral parts of the same Vedic tradition.

More than just a medical system, Ayurveda is the knowledge of how to live in harmony with nature for a long and healthy life so we are able to fulfil our full human and spiritual potential.

Through respect of our own unique nature and our daily lives and routines, our body, mind and spirit are cleansed, rejuvenated and strengthened, preventing disease and improving
well-being.

Whilst Ayurveda is primarily a science of self-healing aimed at restoring health, Yoga is a science of self-realization aimed at calming the mind through movement and breath. As sister disciplines, they work together to enhance the healing and enlightening benefits on all levels of life.

During this weekend you will learn more about the principles of Ayurveda, discover your own unique constitution, learn how to keep in balance, relax with breathing and yoga, have the opportunity to receive an ayurvdic massage, and not only that, discover the wonders of simple Ayurvedic cooking!

The cost for the weekend is £199 includes all food, accomodation. workshops and unlimited use of the facillities (sauna and jacuzzi) so don’t forget your swimming cossie.
The only thing that you would pay extra for would be any of the Ayurvedic treatments you would like starting at £22.00 for half an hour or £45 for a full hour.

The course is run by qualified & experienced Yoga & Ayurveda practitioners Vanessa Long & Carole Pearson with Edward Harpin (Yoga and meditation teacher)
